Online poker player called Full Tilt a cheat

Full Tilt PokerAn online poker player has filed a lawsuit against online poker giant Full Tilt.  This disgruntled poker player has called Full Tilt a ‘cheat’ claiming that the company and the pros who play at the site are cheating honest players out of millions by using bots to play hands and by accusing winning poker players of using bots when they're not.

Lary Kennedy, an online poker player from California has filed the lawsuit to Los Angeles County Superior Court against Full Tilt itself and also against US poker pros Howard Lederer, Phil Ivey, and Chris Ferguson claiming that the company is being controlled from within the US and that its poker room was designed by the high-profile American poker pros who are included in the suit.

Ms Kennedy alleges that Full Tilt poker pros are using poker-bots to play hands for them with both the consent and assistance of the online poker site.  Ms Kennedy also says that she was a victim of Full Tilt’s abuse of their zero-tolerance policy which was instituted after the cheating news stories at the other poker sites.  She says that Full Tilt accused legitimate players of being bots and seizing their money, which happened to her and other players at the site.

Full Tilt has responded by stating that it is regulated by the Kahanwake Gaming Commission, on Indian land in Canada but Mr Ivey, Mr Ferguson and Mr Lederer could not be reached for comment.

Since the UltimateBet and Absolute Poker scandals online poker players have been more and more suspicious about being cheated by ‘supposedly’ legitimate and highly regulated poker sites.  It is unlikely that this latest poker cheating allegation will make any difference to this world-leading poker site though as Full Tilt is the 2nd largest online poker site in the world behind PokerStars.
