Over the past 18 months or so one name has dominated the world of online poker. However, last week the shroud of mystery was lifted as Isildur1 signed for Team PokerStars Pro and shed his anonymity, being revealed as Swede, Viktor Blom.

These players included Tom Dwan, Patrik Antonius and poker Phil Ivey, to name but a few. By November 2009 Isildur1 had accumulated over $5 million in winnings but by the December his winnings were down to $2 million, which included a $4 million loss to Brian Hastings.
Since his explosion into the world of online poker, which featured massive wins catastrophic losses and some of the biggest hands ever played, Isildur1 has become a more rounded and composed player and has earned himself a sponsorship with the world’s biggest online poker site, PokerStars. The PokerStars deal will see young Isildur1 playing in many of the upcoming high-profile live poker tournaments as well as the PokerStars Superstar Showdown, where any player with a bankroll of at least $250,000 can play 2,500 hands against Isildur1 in this high stakes bonanza.
